Sports Day

Sports day was loads of fun. I am the captain of my house hercules. First the prep children and grade 1 did there drill. After grades 2-5 did a drill which they had practiced ages for. Then the day had started the events were criket ball throw , long jump,50 meters, 100 meters, and 200 meters.I didn't win in any of them. there were also some games for parents and teachers. At that time I was making my relay teams. I think Hercules did tremendously well. Hercules won Sports Day. I am extremly proud of my house and the effort they put in to win. I enjoyed Sports Day. GO HERCULES!!!

Sports Day

Sports Day was really fun. But my parents were too busy to come and watch me doing the drill and run the relay. I am in the house of Phoenix. And I’m the captain of my house.
First, the prep and grade 1s did the drill. They were so cute! Then we did the drill including me. The music was different then last year. At the last part of the drill, grade 5 couldn’t stop talking on stage, and I guess the audience could hear that.
Then, there was the final race of 50m, 100m and 200m. It was fun seeing others run. I didn’t run because I couldn’t come 1st or 2nd in any of the races during heats.
Then the teachers and parents did some games too. During that time, I was gathering my relay groups. I was in the relay, too.
The relay started. Phoenix came first in the 3rd and 4th grade relay, and it came second in the grade 5 relay.
Overall, Hercules came 1st followed by Phoenix as 2nd, Pegasus is 3rd and Orion came last in the junior’s sports day.
Two students from each class, boys and girls got a trophy for winning in races.
I like Sports Day.

Primary Sports Day

Today, on February 8, 2008, we had Primary Sports Day. Everyone was very excited. Our practices had been boring and we would end up being very sweaty. But today it was worth it.

First, we had our drills in the morning. Everyone from Prep-5th grade participated. Next, there were individual races. Pegasus was doing pretty good. Afterwards, there was the long jump, which I participated in. Sacha won 1st place in the long jump. The parents and the teachers also had their own games to play, which were Tug-of-War and Thread-the-Needle race. My parents won 1st place in the Thread-the-Needle race. Then, after waiting for a long time, we finally got to do the relays. In the 5th grade girls’ relay, Hercules came first, and sadly, Pegasus came last. But in the 5th grade boys’ relay, Pegasus came in 1st place! Overall, Hercules came in 1st place, Phoenix came in 2nd place, Pegasus came in 3rd place, and orion came in 4th place. Sports Day was very fun!!!
